Is Mattel's 6" Yvonne Craig Batgirl figure still coming?

Has anybody seen these yet or know when and how they will be available? Is the line finished after her?
Still hoping for King Tut, Mr. Freeze, Egghead etc.

Batcycle, Batcopter and Batboat would be awesome too.

I don't know much, except that Mattel showed off that figure at more than one toy show, including something more recent (showing her as part of a 3-pack with Bats & Robin), right?

I'd be pretty irritated if they decided not to put her out soon. If they don't. I'd have to say that that decision would signal the end of the line right there.

As far as these additional villains----they'd be great.

My biggest beef with this line is the same one I have with FTC's: Where's Alfred, Gordon and O'Hara?

Those three characters were SO key to the show that my collection feels incomplete without them.

With all respect to FTC, I feel they are the one manufacturer of the two (FTC & Mattel) that has more reason to release them, I suppose.

FTC is a smaller company, and their merch, if it ends up anywhere offline, it's in collectible shops, not Toys R Us Target etc---i.e. a more "adult collector's" line, so they can easier get away with placing Alfred, Gordon, and O'Hara (the less visually appealing/yet vital) characters in their '66 line----and it boggles my mind why they haven't even announced that they are coming. YET they decide to release Alfred (of all characters) as the first new character in their retro WGSH line, followed by Gordon not long after. I don't get it.

Mattel making anything after Batgirl, and repackaging Robin in that 3-pack and in that new Batmobile re-pack could very well be as far as they go---STILL, I think they should release $30 two packs---I know that's almost impossible, but if I was in charge and the numbers looked as if it might be able to turn a profit Alfred/Tut, Gordon/Egghead and O'Hara/Freeze would be sweet! And that would really close the line great without as great a risk of mega-peg warming from the less interesting butler man and the 2 policemen from the show, because they'd be packaged with more engaging figures.

Another great way for Mattel to extend that Batman '66 line (I'd think) would be through an exclusive online Matty subscription/or buying off their site. How cool would it be to know that you'd be getting 12-14 of those Batman '66 characters delivered to your house, once a month, plus an exclusive or two for subscribing (instead of cherry-picking from day-of-sale each month, which would be a way, like MOTUC to buy them too). You'd think, with the predictability of the characters that would be filling out a 14 figure extension of that 1966 line, that'd it sell just as much product as the vast, unwieldy characters that have popped up in the MOTUC line over the past 8 years.

I agree with everything you said. Unfortunately Mattel has a history of one screw-up after another.

This line is one fat disappointment. I'm thinking of selling mine off and fill the shelf space with the Tweeterhead statues or Moebius kits.

I still hate the lanky, skinny aesthetic they chose. They don't stand or pose well, and there's no momentum or bright future in sight.

The three pack was the last thing we saw of her, and I haven't heard a peep since. I'm disappointed that the line didn't extend either, and would have loved an Egghead.

Mattel is not going to release any more from that lineup. It is a shame because I want the Bat-Computer they showed at the toy-fair.

Do you have a source for this? Does this mean no 3 pack with Batgirl?

The three pack was shown two years in a row at Toyfair and they haven't come out with it. They refuse to answer questions on the Matty board about it besides saying "not all prototypes make there way to production." Plus my Hong Kong sellers have yet to see them in production, this are the ones I got my JLU Aquaman and YJ Artemis figures.

^Ah, good old Mattel. That type of bait & switch, on again off again crap is why I jumped shark with Masters of the Universe Classics. I just couldn't deal with their BS anymore.

Hmmmm. I couldn't be more happy with MOTUC... never had a problem. Then again, I'm an easy sell for certain lines. Also, even though I have bought 95 percent of the MOTUC 8-year run product , I've only been a subscriber for two years (with two mini-subs), so a lot was bought on the secondary market.

So, you're still just guessing? No definitive word? I mean, it's a good guess. But I'll wait till the fat lady sings to say "definitely not".

The way it goes is if there is no mock-up artwork shown at the Toyfair means that they do not have a buyer yet. So for two years we have not seen the packaged figures of the three pack, no packaging shown for the 3 pack which means they cant get a retailer to work on the design of how big the packaging should be, which means we probably won't see them.

The line was dead almost before it came out, with Mattel representatives declaring it so, even before the toys hit retail.

Interesting. So they're waiting for investment into the line, eh? I have somewhat of an idea how that process goes, but don't know the essentials of the basic process. I imagine if just one Toys R Us level outlet plunked down, the line would continue. If that's the case, then it really isn't all Mattel's fault, I'd think. Well, we'll see.
