Here's some Haunted mansion stuff from my collection. I usually try to get at least one thing per visit to WDW. I also have a couple of cool t-shirts but didnt bother to take pics

Do you have the MPC model kits? I loved those! I wish they'd reissue them.

The TV looking thing is weird. It has several different rubber figures you put in it (Mickey, nemo, tinker bell, woody)and it has two adjustable knobs. When you turn it on it vibrates the rubber figure. One knob controls how fast it vibrates and the other controls how fast the light flashes on it and it looks animated. It's kinda hard to explain it looks really creepy.
The art print is by Shag. I don't have the MPC figures. I used to have the rare lakeside boardgame that had some really cool art but I sold it.

We used to have that boardgame in our family, but by the time I was old enough to be interested, there were just fragments and pieces remaining. But yeah, the artwork on it was rock solid. Some of the Haunted Mansion merch lately slips into a cartoonish style that tries to cute-ify it a bit too much.

Wow, that's some great stuff, 4NDR01D! I especially like that Shag print, and the Haunted House for the Vinylmation figures.

Cindy gifted me with a CD repro of the old Haunted Mansion album and storybook last night. I've been wearing out the "Grim Grinning Ghosts" song!

Weebles Haunted House! Loved that as a kid. Such a great playset.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

There is an excellent Haunted Mansion game for the PS2. Anyone else play it? It's spooky and atmospheric, like the ride. But not gory or too scary. It's aged well and still looks very good on HD TVs.

^Ooh! I may have to get that for the boy's PS3. Is it based on the movie? I kind of hope not. I don't loathe it like some, but it wasn't great.

It's not based on the movie. You play as the Mansion's caretaker, Zeke. I really enjoyed it. Luckily, it's not hard to find you can probably still get it brand new for around $30.

BTW: You still have a backwards compatible launch model PS3? Won't play on any of the newer versions.
