    Haunted Mansion action figures!

The family and I just got back from our second trip to Walt Disney World. My favorite ride at any of the parks is still the Haunted Mansion, and last time I was disappointed to find hardly any merchandise based on it. Well, they made up for it this time. I got an antenna topper, a car window cling ("My other ride is a Doom Buggy"), an ornament, and a set of Haunted Mansion Action figures...THAT GLOW IN THE DARK!!!

Now, the design of the figures is a little odd. Not really sure why they are chunky, and The Traveling Ghost and The Skeleton Ghost are a bit off model...but I'm not really complaining! Plus, the price was right, $19.99 for the set. Not a bad price anywhere, and a steal at price-gaugey WDW. The ornament is pretty cool too, and has a better design, but it's not an action figure.

They fit in real well with our Halloween village display. Definitely my favorite souvenir from our trip this time.

Oh, I am so getting those. They are available online at the Disney Store. I was just saying to my Wife yesterday, they need to make Haunted Mansion ReAction Figures. Well, these are gonna have to do for now.

Oh, and bring on the Hatbox Ghost, Bride, Caretaker with Dog, Madame Leota, Organist, Graveyard Ghosts, etc etc etc... This could be an enormous line.

^Oh, that's great! That way you don't have to go to the parks and get them. I should have looked into that myself. Thanks for passing this along!

There was a similar set available at WDW several years ago. I got the 3 Hitchhiking Ghosts and the Bride at a discount shop at Downtown Disney. Individually carded. They also had the Caretaker with a Dog if I remember correctly.

I picked up a set of 3 tombstones this last May that are about the same scale as my figures.

^I just saw those figures on ebay after doing a search. The hitchhiking ghosts look pretty much the same. I may need that bride and caretaker, now.

We went to the "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party" and the Haunted Mansion was well represented in the parade, with the Hitchhiking ghosts, the hosts/gravediggers with shovels, and the ghostly ballroom dancers. It was great!

Maybe I am just picky, but those aren't 'action' figures, they are figurines, not that I wouldn't like some true action figures of these, in the correct scale of course. And the glow feature would be a plus.

^No, they are action figures. They are actually pretty well articulated. Pivot shoulders, cut wrists, knee and ankle joints...they are more articulated than many of the action figures on the pegs today.

The prisoner ghost is somewhat limited by his design, but you can pose these guys. I only wish they had a mid-bicep swivel, for better hitchiking action.

A Super Powers style hitchhiking action would be swell.

I'll have to look into these! You're right about there being precious little HM stuff available, last time we were at WDW there was almost nothing(unless you collect pins, of which they have tons).
A couple years ago I found a B/O tin Haunted Mansion bank at a flea market, only paid a couple bucks for it. It still works too. You put the coin on the doorstep, a little ghost comes out and takes it in. The little porchlight comes on too.

Those are very cool figures made even better by the glow plastic.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
