For whatever reason Hasbro can never seem to get some figures exactly right in making a definitive update to the classic Kenner figures. No matter how many versions they make. Many times they get it frustratingly close and other figures are just long over due for updates.
Nothing complicated just some parts switching and minor adjustments. No re-sculpting or painting. But I think the figures look much better.
Princess Leia. Head from the 2004 Vintage collection, body from the Legacy Collection Medical Frigate and sporting blaster from the 2007 Vintage Collection Combat Poncho.
Luke Jedi. Body from the Vintage Collection Lightsaber Construction, head and right hand from VC Endor Capture and cloak and gun from 2004 Original Trilogy Collection Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight. Still not perfect because he can't sit normally because of the weird hip joints.
Darth Vader. Hasbro has made like a bazillion Empire Vaders. But out of all of them, only one of them can actually hold his Lightsaber in his right hand. You would think they would at least get that right. 2010 VC08 Body, Black Series 06 head (spot on glossy empire helmet in a solid one piece sculpt) and the right glove from the nice but very outdated 2004 Vintage Collection Vader.
Obi Wan Kenobi. Legacy Collection Obi Wan with the hood stitched down so it would drape like in the movie.
