I do have to hand it to them, they really captured that nostalgic feeling.
If somebody ever repros the box, I'd buy it just to display that by itself.

I agree... way too expensive. But they wore me down. The three astronauts would've made it worth it. For now, I paid too much, but am hoping to love it when it arrives. It reminds me a lot of the Well of the Souls Playset from Raiders. Maybe I'll combine the two. Hmmmmm... snakes and a mummy on LV-426.

It's a cool playset, but a little much for me. For that price, I think they should have included the three astronauts.

The picture of the kids playing with the set is priceless.

My cousin went and picked me up the play set and 2 of the eggs, should be here soon...im very anxious to see what figures I got....

I have no doubt that we'll see Kane as a regular painted figure in the next series. The little chestburster popping out of him is too cool.

and Ripley in a space suit is probably an easy given as well.

It will be interesting to see what Alien variants we get in series 2 (since we'd assume they would be the selling points of any given Alien wave). I'd honestly be shocked if Wave 2 was just humans, since they are the peg warmers in the toy stores I've frequented.

Super 7 was also selling a limited edition Alien Vinyl. I think they sold out in a blink on previews night, along with the 200 or so playsets?

Just saw my brother tonight, he came back with two blind boxed egg for me and a pre-order certificate for the playset (I'm guessing the black box version?). Opened up the eggs and got 1 clear Alien and 1 clear Kane with chestburster.

I'll post pics later.
