The local TRU had zero NECA APES when I checked them out tonight... When I asked if they had them, the guy I asked didn't seem to know what I was talking about, and the worker he asked also seemed to not have any idea about them, so it must depend on the individual TRU store(s), because locally, there were none... I figured all TRU would have them because you seen them there, a guy on a different message board posted that he bought his there, and they are on the TRU.com website... So, I guess it's all hit and miss... I'd guess anyone wanting to buy them there should probably call first to save themselves from wasting a trip... I ended up buying finding them at the local comic store: He had all of the Classic Series in stock and two of the three from DAWN (Caesar was sold out)...

All that said, the Classic Series One figures look as good in real as they do on any of the postings/links within this thread... I'd recommend them to anybody who might be on the fence about buying them...

The gorilla sculpt is amazing. The vest seems a tad short.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

I've told the guys at Monkey Laundry time and time again: keep an eye on the temperature when you wash these things. But do they listen?
Well, at least they stopped throwing faeces at the customers, that's a start...
