Here's a preview of Wave 2's Dr. Zira... For some reason, the top 1/4 didn't show up for me, so if anybody could post her picture in here, I'd appreciate it. Thanks...

Here's a look at all three figures from Series 2... Also shows the 8" Mego-like Taylor (as seen in other parts of the MM forums...):

I would LOVE to see them revisit this in Mego form like they're doing with Taylor. I'm sure that figure is the testing grounds to make more.

If they're doing Ursus, they aren't adhered to just the one movie like Diamond was. This could mean a lot of things, mostly empty wallets....

Imagine Taylor walking up the beach, falling to his knees before the statue of Liberty that is holding up an empty wallet.
"They've finally done it! They made too much Apes merchandise!!!!!"

But I'm not complaining. We're spoiled, spoiled, spoiled. Good times ahead...

                    Yes. Mine.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Would love to see a study of the television show with a real effort to recreate Mark Lenard as Urko.

Here's a look at some more NECA APES figures that are due to come out in the future... Shows some new DAWN figures, and interestingly, there's a CONQUEST Caesar:

Great news...Taylor is coming to the Planet of the Apes line! Not so great news...It's a MEGO style 8" retro figure and not a 7" scale figure. Here's the display for NECA's Planet of the Apes and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes figures.

Here's a review of the Series 1 figures:

NECA’s first wave of Classic Planet of the Apes figures is out — and they’d make the Lawgiver proud.

Dang! There is an oversized format as well? 7", 8" Mego style, and is the largest one 1/4 scale? I'm wondering if Funko/Super 7 is considering doing 3 3/4" ReAction of Apes.... seems to be an obvious choice for a retro format license.
