I have been really looking forward to these, but so far am not impressed. I do like some OK, and will definitely buy some though. Hoping the production figures come out looking better.

Can't wait to see the Universal Monsters, Modern Horror and Firefly.

Zica killed it with their SMDM line. KILLED IT!

These are prototypes though, no? Kurt and Arnie are pretty funky, but I'm hoping these get modified a bit before final production. Otherwise these look more like Adventure People than anything else.

Early SW I will give you were not the most accurate... But they got way better as they went on. These look a little worse than innaccurate, they appear purposely generic, not charmingly basic Nobody hopes more than me that they get tweaked... I had, and still have, high hopes for these. Marty and Doc are high on my list, and if we get a DeLorean? I could lose my mind...

Yes... Yes. Or perhaps underthinking it. It's weird. In 1978 Kenner gave us Walrus Man, but months later, they'd sculpt the amazing ALIEN prototype. I don't think ReAction is giving Kenner enough credit.

I think they're mistaking retro for crappy.
"Oh, yeah, collector's just love poorly made crap from the 70s!!!"

                  These are simply awful.
The Alien ones are selling for $35 a piece here. I wouldn't pay $5 for these new ones from Predator, Escape, etc.

Yes exactly!!! Though I do live the Adventure people so.....

For myself I was looking forward most to the Escape from Noo Yawk figure and I agree I was not too impressed with it. Hopefully it will look a bit different once released (and that is very possible)

More figures have been revealed. The Universal Monsters look great. I am SO getting those.

Toyark sponsor Entertainment Earth has revealed even more Funko ReAction Figures! Nearly the entire lineup has no been unveiled. • Universal Monsters • Firefly • Goonies • Back to the Future • Pulp Fiction • Ghostface • Freddy Krueger • Sam • Buffy the Vampire Slayer • Jason Voorhees • Pinhead • Michael Myers •...
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I want Universal Monsters most, they remind me of 80s Remco 3.75" Mini Monsters! Getting, Michael, Jason, and Freddy, too!

Wolfman looks awesome, and the Pulp Fiction ones look pretty cool--a little closer on the likenesses. But most of the head sculpts are poopy and generic. Back to the Future ones are not very impressive. Many of these seem to have the same head with different colored hair.

Huh. Some of these actually look better than the first reveal. The Goonies look decent. The Monsters look terrific. I like the Freddy and Jason. Michael Meyers... A little less. Sam from Trick 'R Treat looks like a win.

The Marty and Doc are very disappointing though.

All in all, it's a mixed bag, but it will be fun to cherry pick. Also, I think they will produce zillions of these, so I'm expecting some sales down the road.

I get that distinction. I guess I'm cool with whatever as far as the faces as long as the rest of the figure looks somewhat iconic/recognizable.

Marty and Doc look passable to me... generic but iconic... Biff and George, on the other hand have really nothing to offer, methinks.
If you were interested in those figures and THEN a DeLorean, you can spend a bit more on a good scaled DeLorean... they are out there. A bit expensive, but if you're a BTTF fan, I'd say they're worth it. I have a nice one myself. I've left a link in one of these threads before showing it.

Really wanted to love these, but they are so cartoony. I worked on Daria and they remind me of the character designs on the show. Still gonna cherry pick....
