Talk me out of buying a Star Wars vintage Millenium Falcon TRU Exclusive

Toys”R”Us is the leading kids store for all toys, video games, dolls, action figures, learning games, building blocks and more. C'mon, Let's Play!

I can't stop thinking about this thing ever since I saw it. I wanted to get the large size Falcon from a few years ago and now that they've reissued it in vintage packaging it's a problem.

I have no place to put it and I don't actively collect SW figures.

I've spied this thing any number of times I've been in TRU, and it does have a certain draw to it. Then I look at the price. :O

It is all kinds of awesome. It's loaded to the max with cool light up features and sound effects and voice clips from the movie. One of my fav things about it is the motorized boarding ramp. Very cool. Plus the cockpit seats four.

BTW: Have you seen the new TRU exclusive X-Wing in the vintage style box? It's only $60 and takes up a lot less room.

You decide to investigate... and you never return...

            Lol, okay.

If I can think of one down side to it, it's one time assembly and does not fit back into the box.

The X-Wing, on the other hand, still comes apart and fits back into the box.

All I know is, I'm suddenly about to purchase a large size X-Wing that I wasn't about to purchase before I clicked on this thread.

                lol. yeah....

I'm not even sure I'd want to take it out of the box for a few years.

I wont talk you out of it and it is awesome. I bought this a few months back and dont regret it one bit. I still havent opened it up, I just love looking at it in the vintage box. I also bought the AT_AT walker, X-wing fighter, and Yfighter. Im about to purchase the interceptor from Amazon. Im still debating on Boba Fetts Slave I.

My son got the X-Wing and Tie-Fighter set a few years back, and they are REALLY nice. I imagine this is even nicer. I've NEVER collected Star Wars, and this thing is still kind of tempting.

I know I'm not helping. Sorry.

Kinda glad that I just had to buy a new furnace so I'm broke. Otherwise I'd be really tempted on all three of these....
