      Love them!
Absolutely! I skipped the Mattel figures and Batmobile (even for the price, the quality was lacking IMO), but I just pre-ordered the Hot Toys pair through Sideshow (Flex pay makes it a bit easier to absorb!).

I haven't been able to contain myself, although I have skipped Bat-tusi and Surf's Up Batman from Mattel. I'm in for FTC's stuff as well. I'm an easy mark.

Was the HT 66 Batmobile EVER put up for pre-order?

Not yet; I'm a bit nervous about the price, but I'll have to get it!

SWEET! I am so pleased to see they kept the prices down. Smart move. The market may not have been there for a higher price point. I'll be ordering these.

Just a word to the wise: Sideshow will only let you do one payment plan item per order, so you'll have to order Batman and Robin separately. I did that, and it worked fine. I even had a few reward points to cash in!

Preordered. So happy about the "low" price. I told myself over 225 was my breaking point. Very happy tonight. My first and only venture into high end collectibles.

                  Hey E2C!
Your kind of a Twin Brother to me... You're a Robin fan and I also Pre-Ordered Batman on Payment Plan and Robin in full payment in separate orders... Its going to hurt anyhow...

                    ^Hey bro!

I ordered both on payment, with two separate orders. I wish you could break it up over more months, but what the hey. I'm pretty selective on my Hot Toys purchases, and have passed up a BUNCH of figures I'd like to have. But for these guys, there was just no way I could pass them up.

My thoughts exactly Chris. Now THIS will be worth the wait.

I ordered both. This is my first Hot Toys purchase. I really hope this line continues.

Any idea when the Batmobile will be available for pre-order? I just hope I don't die from sticker shock.

^I hope it comes out MANY months after Ward and West hit. If so, I may be able to convince myself if I dropped 400 on these two at the same time, I can afford to do it for the most famous car in the world.

I don't buy a lot of toys, only the stuff that I really really really want. This was pretty much a "can't live without" type situation.

I was born in 1964. Batman '66 was my first obsession. My earliest memories are of watching this show during it's original run. My love of everything comic book/superheroes related stems from my love of that show.

I've wanted Batman '66 figures my entire life. It took nearly 50 years, but they're finally here.

I hope these figures sell well enough for this line to continue.

At the very least, I'd really love to see The Joker, The Penguin, and The Riddler produced.

Given that these figures are based on the Batman '66 film, and not the TV series, I'm guessing that Batgirl probably won't be produced. I hope I'm wrong because that figure would be absolutely AMAZING.

These are gonna be like the Reeve figure ..., there's gonna be plenty around after the pre-orders me thinks.
