I am reminded that Batman 66's ears look like the Star Trek insignia.

I wish, but I doubt they'll do it the first time around...they know they can milk this..plus if they do do that then it'll be a DX figure which would mean he'd probably be $275-$300+"Time to nut up or shut up"-Tallahassee

Except for that fact that Ward and West never appeared in costume on the show with the masks off. So that would not be screen accurate. Be better off doing full Wayne and Grayson figures. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

Ooooh.... Awesome!
Love the sculpts, especially the grimacing West... Amazing! To me, Robin looks just about perfect. But, Batman... his body seems awful thick. His overall shape makes him appear short and dumpy, and that his head is too small. I think if the body from shoulders down were about 7% thinner, he would look absolutely perfect.Comment

Sideshow Collectibles is now taking the pre-orders for an April 2014 release. The good news is the prices, while still expensive, aren't as bad as I thought they'd be. $205 for Batman, $190 for Robin.
The bad news is that is says Batman 1966 film, not the TV show. The licensing for the film is different that the show, so it might mean no Julie Newmar Catwoman down the road. Though I'm only guessing about that, of course.Comment
