I Got an artic Captain action today my TRUS had a moving sale and couldn't pass him up.....

I noticed yesterday TRU have moved all of the CA figures and outfits to a discount rack. I hope this is not indicative of them pulling support away from the line. I need to get the Iron Man costume!!

When something goes to 1/2 off, they're clearing room. Most likely for the summer movie toys, but it usually doesn't bode well.

Just got word from Round 2 that Iron Man and Wolverine basic sets will be at TRU stores either June or July. They're trying to get them in as fast as possible so they don't miss the Iron Man 3 movie by much. They said Entertainment Earth will also be taking pre-orders pretty soon. Nothing on the site yet, but it's coming.

Considering the OTC Lando figures that sat on my local TrU shelf for years at full price, it always makes me worry a bit when toysrus actually puts a discount on figures.

My thoughts exactly. But I do get the impression Round 2 has a little more say in how the product is being handled through all stages of pricing. This seems to be pretty deliberate. What does disappoint me is how much of the product was left warming shelves after they ordered it in surprising bulk over the holidays. That in itself was a surprise. But hopefully a slight price adjustment and new product will bring it all back again. I think Iron Man will be a big seller. Hard to see where it wouldn't. Probably Wolverine too. What will be interesting is how much of it is ordered. Does TRU stores dial it way back to where it's hard to get it except through online purchases? Or will they keep the faith and keep the line stocked in healthy amounts? This will get interesting.

I don't mind so much the basic figure when it was 30 bucks then they knocked off the price....but the costumes costing as much as the figure (when It was at 30 bucks) with no figure included is somewhat insane. It would have been nice if they sold Captain action already dressed as the Marvel Heroes. I liked when Playing Mantis did their Cap figure already dressed as the hero.....

Lowering the price is a good thing but when it comes to Toys R Us, it usually means they will under order it...which I hope not....

I really dig Everything on Him ...., Just not the Head Much. But He's great, and even greater for the Price.

The way round 2 is selling captain action I think its will be best to not buy the outfits until the next set is about to be released because when the artic cap first came out I saw people pay up to $65 for him and now hes on sale for only $17.99 and same with the deluxe figures so if you wait you will be getting one heck of a deal in the end
