^^^ My thinking is the DC license will be part of the Christmas holiday push for 2013 if we're lucky. Based on Round 2's inability to answer four or five inquiries as to the actual release date for the Iron Man and Wolverine sets, leads me to believe they are somewhere in production hell right now. Some sites indicate an April release, while others state July. Yet in a recent interview this week Round 2 indicates the sets will be out in time for Iron Man 3 which is early May. So who knows? I don't think Round 2 knows themselves.Comment

^^agreed. i did not have one set up as Dr Evil in my display so had not really had time to view and admire it. the round 2 version is light years better tahn Ideal or Playing Mantis versions. he actually looks menacing and evil in this version. really a cool looking figure and I like having it on display. especially at a $15 price pointComment

one thing I did notice with the two Caps I bought is a variation in skin tone/color

not sure how clear it is in the pictures but the one on the left has a much lighter skin tone, even on the hands. hat is also a lighter shade of blueComment

the hands on the lighter skin one might be painted, but the head is also lighter skin tone. also, i just noticed, the ody suit is different on the lighter skinned one. no turtle neck, it is almost a v neckComment

^^^ Yeah I noticed that too on the turtle neck. Also the sleeves keep getting shorter and shorter. I hope they don't get too cheap on the production values in these later stages. Some people still enjoy the Captain for display as himself.Comment

the paint job on the weapons and accessories is not as good, rather sloppy actually. the colors are not as bright either. i have not taken him our of the casing yet to handle and see if the plastic quality is any differentComment

My guess is these figures will be moving to that price point (or one similar to it) when the coffin boxed versions start hitting the shelves. They'll need to keep those prices down if they want the base figure to continue selling. I have about all I'm going to buy of the standard version. I will switch out costumes as they jump from the Marvel to DC license. But I will say the standard CA figures are beginning to look sloppy in production. Hands and hat painted now and the outfit is not nearly as presentable as before. Sleeves have gotten very short and there are tons of stitching issues around the collar area and arm cuffs. Plus the emblem keeps moving down. Pretty soon he'll be wearing it in his britches.Comment
