My TRU has restocked the CA's and DE's. Which is weird since I think they had the same ones since they put them out. They don't seem to be moving fast here. I'm anoxious to see if the costumes will go on sale.

When my wife bought three of these the other day for me, she got the last one's they had. When I went back last night they were restocked already. They had another six or seven of them. It's hard to know what is happening here. But TRU sure seems to have faith in the line. It's not often you see them overstock action figures in the 1/6th scale. So my early thinking is they must be selling pretty good.Comment

I would really like the option of just buying an unclothed, no-accessory basic figure. I know this goes against the whole "idea" behind Captain Action, but even if I was a kid that was playing with them, I wouldn't have one figure of each and be constantly swapping clothes. I'd want all my heroes dressed and ready to play. Same goes as an adult collector who wants to display them.Comment

i notice that even the CA logo is kind of "blurry" on the chest of the jumpsuit with the vneck. it's wierdComment

Yes, a $20 basic figure would be much easier to swallow. $40 for a 12" figure works, but $50 for one, when you're not using the clothes for the basic figure seems wasteful and kinda silly.
And that's what I meant about the original, you were supposed to swap outfits, but I have no interest in that. I wouldn't have as a kid either. Too easy to ruin the clothes taking them on and off, plus you can't have battles, etc. with one figure and 5 outfits!Comment

Picked up a Dr. Evil, CA for 15 each and a Thor for $19.99- not too bad, really like the figures and those were prices I could swallow!Looking for:- Lincoln Monsters (Any condition)
- Boxed Mego Monsters
- AHI Jigglers / Bendy Monsters (Carded and Loose)

Costume Sets are Now 14.99 And Figures R 17.99 Thru April 6th or something.
I broke Down Today ...
And Bought Captain Action and Thor . it was like 35 Bucks for the Set.
Ofcourse I Opened them, And Quickly Changed The Captain to Thor.
Thor's Costume is Amazing. The Helmet is Probably the Coolest Assesories I've Ever Seen. It Really Makes the Figure.
I am Less Inclined to Appreciate Captain Actions Body ..., With All the 12inch Crap I buy these Days ...., I guess you Get What you Paid for. The Arm Joint is somewhat Loose, and Thor can not Hold His Hammer out .. And 1 of his Knees Have a Wobble. But I Mean, Like what do you Expect for a 12inch Body U Pretty Much Just Paid 19 Bucks for.
I can Over Look my issues with the Body, for the Over All Pur Awesomeness of the Figure Displayed as Thor.
I'm Go'in Back Next Week for Captain America Now ...
Anyone On the Fence with These ..., Should Jump Off and give it a Shot , With the Discounted Prices, these R a Fantastic Steal right now. imo.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
always trading for Hot Toys Figures .Comment

Dangit! I just bought a Thor at full price. Although, I got the CA figure for $14.99, so I guess I only lost out on a couple bucks savings. Good to know though, I passed on a new Spidey suit to replace the older one. Maybe I'll go back and snag it now. I think the colors match the Mego outfits a little closer.Comment

Thor's is incredible, I would recommend it. I, too, had issues with the joints in my CA figure, his wrists were about as limp-wristed as it gets. It took a bit of manipulating and removing pieces, but finally was able to get it tightened enough for him to hold up Mjolnir- I bought another CA and an Eville while they were $15- that way I have backups for when the next wave of costumes comes outLooking for:- Lincoln Monsters (Any condition)

Put my Thor suit on one of the newer CA bodies and was NOT happy at how loosey-goosey everything was! The hands practically pull out with the slightest force, the head was flopping all over the place (the mask actually remedied that) and the arms will not stay up when holding the hammer.Comment
