Possible 1/6 Conan coming!

The middle one's obviously Arnold as Conan, but any idea who the other two are based on? Also, Kaustic said on Sideshow Freaks that at the end of February, they'll have inteersting news about that middle (Arnold) head sculpt. I can only imagine what it'll be, but I'm really looking forward to that.

Arnold as Conan has been one of my most hoped for Hot Toy projects. I will ecstatic if it comes to pass.

Just saw this posted on Facebook: "I know I'm a bit evil This is one of our new secret project for 2014. Soon (VERY SOON) I will post the picture of the first XXL release This XXL will be kit made for extralarge body kind, made by 1 headsculpt and 1 full set of dress.. More info will come soon"

If I'm reading it right, instead of offering a Conan figure, they'll have that head sculpt and gear as a package you can buy and put on a body yourself. I've seen KP's other work, and it will be close to--if not on par with--Hot Toys quality, but at a cheaper price. This is might be the best we'll ever get, guys, unless HT makes a move when The Legend of Conan comes out. Frankly, I'm extremely excited.

This is out now and looks great. I am about to bite the bullet on it,but dont know what body to use Kaustic heavy muscle body kp02 is out of stock with US sellers and I dont want to spend a bunch getting one shipped from Italy.....you guys got any other ideas?

I got two sets from Cotswold and they look great. About the body, KP's reissuing a new version of the KP02 soon with better, more muscular legs. The reason is because they're also releasing an expansion on this set with the Destroyer gear, including the shorts, so they want better looking legs, since they'll be exposed. So take heart, more bodies are coming, skullface. BTW, did you know Modern Life has teamed with Kaustic to release a rooted hair head with a better resemblance to Arnold? In their expansion, I think they're probably including a headband to go with this head. Modern Life's also releasing a head with sculpted hair, I believe. I think I'd grab one of each for display and use the standard KP head for a custom "camouflaged" orgy battle Conan.

I hope it has a lower price point,I just could not leave this one alone,if they make another full set I might need two bodies....and put them both out on display. I am supposed to be done with 1/6 stuff and am going to get rid of a bunch but Conan does not count. I saw Kaustic says they have the kp 02 back in stock, but I assume the new one will have a different number? Cotswo did not have the body but I got the set from them.

I'm glad you got the set while you still could, because it's limited release. The new muscle body they're coming out with is called KP02XXL version--it's a KP02 with more muscular legs and more tan in color to match the Fantasy Warrior head sculpt, and a preview pic of the unpainted prototype w/ some Destroyer gear is here. Looks pretty good, really--I'd just sit on that Fantasy Warrior kit for a while until those bodies come out and grab a couple then, skullface. Cotswold has the KP03 and it'll fit that, but it's just not quite big enough--hopefully, it won't take that long to get the new bodies.

BTW, did you see what the new expansion to the set is going to contain? Atlantean sword w/ leather sheath (unlike the fur one from the first movie), two-handed axe (I'm guessing the one from the Battle of the Mounds), Thulsa Doom snake pendant, Wheel of Pain pendant, longer boots than the first set, leather codpiece, fur shorts to go under it, and a couple other items--probably the headband's in there. Lots of good stuff! I'm hoping if they ever start making female bodies, they make a Valeria kit like this.

Yeah I was reading about that next set,it might even cost more,but I will buy it. A Valeria set would be cool but they might have to scale back her nose ....in real life it is large,but you tend to over look it,that would be hard to overlook on a doll. These guys could do red sonja outfits and make a killing.....lots of buyers for that.
I am glad I am done with 1/6 these guys could clean out all my money otherwise....those Romans are sick...

Yeah, Kaustic and ACI both get too much of my money. KP's got a Gladiator kit coming out (probably for the KP03 body, I'd guess), and ACI's got a pre-slavery Thracian Spartacus, Achilles from Troy, and Aragorn on the way. Unfortunately, Asmus has the North American license for Lord of the Rings, while ACI's got it for Asia. I really hope I can snag the ACI Aragorn somehow, because it's a work of art.
