Yes I've heard the news. I'm hoping they do it right. I'm concerned it will be all wrong. I'm hoping it's done right.

I'm going to NYC Comic Con with some other Jem fans we want to see these for our selves.

When is the live action movie happening? You know it's coming.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

It sure is! No joke. I don't know how that's gonna work out but I can hope it's at least watchable.

I can't imagine that working well. I'd prefer a cartoon.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I guess I'm too far out of touch. While I've heard the names you speak of, and have seen the Lady Gaga headlines all over the place I'm just not plugged in I guess.

Personally the whole relaunch / revamp thing is getting a little tired to me but if the end result brings today's little girls joy than who the heck am I to complain?

I guess it's that for so long now I keep hearing the old schoolers moaning and complaining when the the new version doesn't live up to expectations (see Retro Action, He-Man 2000 or Star Wars post 1999).

Excuse me while I go youtube search the aforementioned pop princesses while longing for Debbie Gibson and Tiffany

Yes, while the relaunch of 80s properties rarely lives up to the original, when done right it can be amazing (see Bandai and Cartoon Network's current Thundercats).
