How can something be awful and not as bad as I was expecting at the same time? Nicely done Tonner. ;-)

Unmasked Cap looks like he belongs in an Ambecrombe & Fitch ad.Comment

Cap looks strange in that fax Leather outfit, kind of baggy as well, reminds me of the 2 different comic stories when cap lost the Super serium effect and reverted back to the skinny weak Rogers (one story was in the early 80's then the 2nd was 2000's) He looks really mad with the mask on (Guess you would to if you were some kind of super solider and they made you looks thin and so Gayish looking)
Tonner has always had this issue with their male line.
Now As for poor Wanda, The face looks slightly manish, and the outfit while made nicely, is not as detailed as it should, and looks home made, kind of like a custom. I think the best line they had so far, has been The original Supergirl release, and the Huntress. Their Skinnyman oops, I meant Spiderman 3 was so thin, he did not even look good.Last edited by MEMEGO; Jul 13, '11, 9:49 AM.Comment

Wow...that is horrible.
Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

The sad part is they could have hired Liefeld to design the Cap doll, and it would've looked better.Comment

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

I didn't know Bieber played the part of Cap....

They're BOTH too skinny for my taste.
Wanda has never been that skinny, not even in the comics, and he looks like he did before he was injected with the Super Soldier Formula.
Plus they are WAY too expensive.
Not my cup of tea at all.JediJaidaComment

I don't care for Tonner stuff, for many of the reasons cited above. But I think the uniform is far from terrible, & would look nice on a bulkier figure/doll.
Oh, & could we discuss this without homophobic wiseacre asides?WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

Well, she does have a beautiful face, and a nice head of hair.
The costume is spot on, although I don't really remember Wanda having that drapey split skirt.
It's just that she's so skinny!!!!
In some respects, she's skinnier than Barbie is, and that's saying something.
As for the Cap, he looks too danged young to have been born in the 1920's.
Not that Cap in the comics looks old; he looks about thirty-five-ish.
This kid looks like he's just out of high school and is going into college.JediJaidaComment
