yeah these waves hit BigBadToyStore fast. Just a week apart. I got the Color Corps GL Wave this week and this one is now headed my way next week.

I got the Joker and the Mr. Freeze from the Batman Wave, too. The 1940s Joker is really nice. I prefer the modern Mr. Freeze to the silver-age version.

As much as it's quite the purchase, it seems like a no-brainer
to buy the whole wave, as I paid almost that amount JUST for
the Giganta on Ebay... wild. Not to mention... I know you collect 'em all...
and altho' I do not... it'll still be awesome to recieve Vulcan, Toyman
and Samurai into the collection.... El Dorado... not so much... and
BT and CB, I'll throw in some trade/sell deal at some point.

I've never purchased any of these DC figures before, but I got this wave from Entertainment Earth because of the Superfriends figures. I generally don't collect much else other than vintage toys so really the last "modern" toys I bought were the DC Direct Superfriends. And these look like they will be close enough for me to round out the troops with. I had additionally gotten $15 off a $100 order from the code on my EE catalog (bumped up the total by preodering a BBP Twilight Zone Shatner) so it came out to even a bit less for this set for me.

Everywhere else I had seen was up around $125 or more so this seemed like a good deal to someone like me who had no idea what these cost in the first place. Though these still seem more overpriced to me at $15 than the RA figures at $20. I'll be getting rid of the 2 non superfriends loose figures hopefully for a few bucks each to offset the cost further. I'm happy to have El Dorado.

Eventually, I would like to pick up the Wonder Twins but only if they come down in price or I get lucky. Now I just have to figure out what Hawkman figure to buy, as I'm not sure if they have variants or what of him in this line. I had looked at the DC Direct Hawkman figures back when I bought the Superfriends 2 packs but didnt like any of them.

There's only 1 Hawkman Currently for DCU's ....He came out in Wave 6, the Kalabak Wave. He is Fairly Common, and shouldn't fetch more than 20 in reality, probably up to 10 bucks off for loose. If I had an Extra 1, I'd hook you up. He's pretty close to The Super Friends look ..., and really looks so much Like an Updated Super Powers Figure.

He is also currently at ToyRus packaged Hawkman with a MOTU Stratos Variant for 29.99 . Same Hawkman Figure .

There is a more so Variant version of Hawkman that comes out in Wave 19. Similar, but more so, sorta JSA Comicbook Version.

I actually own About 7 different Hawkman figures..., and also Hope to get the Brightest Day figure, However for what you Wish to achieve with your Collection ..., I'd so Roll with the Wave 6 DCU Hawkman.

BTW ..., The DCU Green Arrow, Brainiac, Giganta , Firestorm, Solomon Grundy , Flash, Captain Cold & Cyborg are all very Nice and pay Homage to the Super Friends. Giganta & Grundy are The Build a Figures, and can be spendy at times. Just throwing it out there.

If your a Opener ...., you will fall in Love with these figures. You can Literally Pose them in any Posistion you could Imagine for Toon and Comicbook Classic Poses and Looks.

They also have Stands and Flight Stands for the smaller 1's.

I have all of the DC Direct Super Friends figures as well...., I was very disapointed that the Hanna Barbara End of the Heroes and Giganta were never covered ..., it's why I thought to start getting them in the 1st Place.

I got my Complete set at BBTS for 99 bucks.... I have a Pile of Loot , which Everything I get, gets sent to me at once ..., and couldn't have paid more than 8 bucks for shipping.

                              This is a Fun Wave.

... These can be very addictful too.
