Naughty bits aside, there have been quite a few seem-less bodies on the market for the last few years in the high end collector's market.

Given the excitement for the Christopher Reeve Superman figure in another thread in the modern toy section, I'd say that if Hot Toys put out a Lynda Carter Wonder Woman on a similar body as this, many of the same folk would be all over it. Particularly since her costume bares her arms, shoulders and knees.

I hope they figure out a way to make those necks shorter. Why do so many companies get that wrong?

Yup! as a Cy Girls collector and 12 figure collector I like this......but I'd use it only if the custom I was making needed a body like this......

Like Dane said if this was and 8 inch I think many people would be all over this.........

Japan has all the crazy stuff. I think the wierd thing to me was the "anatomically" correct description. Kind of like the Billy Dolls.....

                        Weird? Creepy? Gross? Too much?

Ahh... it's the human body, people.

                          Indeed.
Isn't it odd that people see a figure of a zombie, guts hanging out, rotting eyeballs in sockets, decomposing flesh, and they say "hey, cool!!!!"

It's not a naked woman. It's an anatomically correct doll.

Stuff like this is why adult male toy collectors still get stereotyped as creepy comic book guys.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I've seen a similar one on ebay from tbleague - they have a Lara Croft figure with terrific looking accessories.

Just curious, if this same degree of realism was portrayed on action figures depicting the Teen Titans or the Harry Potter kids would you still be OK with it? If not, why not? It's just the human body...right?

The creep factor doesn't stem from the natural female form in of itself. It originates from the questionable purpose behind it's portrayal on an unnatural inanimate object aimed at adult males and the directions this could possibly lead to in the future.
