    huh...weird.

They should name it "don't you wish you had a girlfriend? body".

It's neat but I'm scared as to why anyone needs that much...detail in a toy.

I'm not sure I need that much detail in a real person. ;-)

        That...is NOT a toy.

That is for customizers who want the nearest thing to perfection in pose-ability and life-likeness.

Not for me, but I can see some people really digging it.

I could see where it would come in handy if you were customizing Nova from PotA or something and didn't want visible joints. Anytime knee, elbow, or wrist joints are visible, it's distracting for some customisers that are shooting for ultra realism. The best thing I've been able to pull off w/ a guy character is using a Jakks 1/6 Triple H figure for Conan and hiding the wrist and shoulder joints with the costuming. Tarzan would be pretty much impossible, I reckon.

As far as the nudity goes, that's nothing compared to those Playboy dolls from a few years back. I used to see the Karen McDougal in antique malls all the time, but not so much any more. They were a bit extreme, IMO.

I agree. If a person was into some of the fantasy figures like Triad's Dejah Thoris...

... a Hot Stuff figure would be the ideal upgrade.

Not for me either, but the covered joints are cool.

Yeah, the Triad Toys Dejah Thoris and John Carter are two examples of figures that to me are impressive and well-done; yet, ruined by overly visible joints. Their Zorro looks immaculate, however.

Looks to me like it is really just an metal armature type set up similar to some of Volks stuff. It is a little creepy.

Hey, if it was 8"Mego size...I'd buy it for customizing. Some female Comic characters costumes show some skin, so this would work. Like Vampirella.

Hey, c'mon guys and girls, it's just a naked woman.
                        Nothing creepy about it.
I have always hated bare-armed female figures with highly visible joints, and this is just perfect. The only reason they show them naked, is to show how lifelike they are.
I didn't buy the Hot Toys Vasquez just because her arms looked like robot arms.

There will always be pervs that buy these for kicks, but hey, they might also buy My Little Pony for kicks.
I, for one, always appreciate the beauty of the female form.
These truly are, Hot Toys, and for the serious collector, not aimed at the general toy market.

Right! Hot Toys are also doing the rubber skin on the Male bodies now to hide the joints. For figures like Bruce Lee with no shirt on.

I totally get a kick out of seeing Bruce with no shirt on.

Brings a whole new meaning to the idea of "playing with one's toys." God help us if they make a male to go with it.
