Saw them at 1 of 3 TRU. I had three 8" GL figures in hand when I put them back. I couldn't justify the price.Comment

They're less than those Iron Man Legends figures...I did the same thing when those rang up for $17.99 each. I refuse to pay that much for a 6" mass-market action figure. I told the cashier it was too much and walked.Comment

Saw the movie masters 2-pack and the 3 3/4" figures at the TRU across the street today.
The translucent green plastic Hal was pretty nifty. Love all the little green translucent energy constructs they come with as well... Hal's got the fist one.
Even better that they all come with Green Lantern rings.Comment

I saw one that was all translucent green. I might pick that one up but that will be it. I usually get one figure per movie.Comment

I have to admit, Parallax does have a cool action feature.
I don't know why, but I kind of thought "Mangler" when I saw it... probably because of the cardboard cutout of Hal that it comes with.Comment

I saw a bunch of the 3&3/4 inchers at Walmart ...
So far I bought Nothing.
I hate the way the figures look compaired to what Hasbro Can do.
.... I might grad Kilowog , Jordan and Stel, perhaps. But for Now, I'll just stick with the Movie Masters.
I'd like to Score that 12inch Giants of Justice Jordan too.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
always trading for Hot Toys Figures .Comment

Went to TRU Saturday and saw pretty much everything that is out now. I got to hand it to Mattel, they have some pretty imaginative stuff that fits the property. The Parallax figure is cool, and not a bad deal for how huge it is.
The 3 3/4" figures aren't as nice as Hasbro's, but then again, they don't own that format like Hasbro does. They are better looking than 90% of the Infinite Heroes figures.
I picked up the Movie Masters Hal. Nice figure, but my and my son had to really dig for one that didn't have a sloppy paint job on the head. The mask and hair were smeared on most of them. Mattel's QC on paint is still not great.
In edition to the Movie Master Hal, my son picked up the mask and the ring, which is neat. My only gripe there is the ring is so thick, it would be hard for anyone above the age of 5 to get it over their knuckle. A more adjustable band would have been better.
The general branding on the packaging is a vast improvement over the Dark Knight merchandise, which in my opinion was just really ugly. Mattel's figure packages were some of the blandest since Toy Biz's god-awful gold-lame look for the Batman/DC Super Heroes lines in 1989.
