what scale is that ?
Looks pretty Damn cool to me.
Looks sorta like a Custom ..., The Shield Paint aps drop the ball. Colors look alittle off too. The side arm doesn't look removable either.Last edited by BlackKnight; Nov 6, '10, 12:32 AM.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

It looks ok. I would just for once like to see a movie made where it actually looks like the comic book character.LOOK

I'm just curious to see what he would look like once the helmet is removed. That figure is the first time I've seen Cap with what looks to be a actually mask on his face and not just a one piece helmet with goggles. It looks like it may have a more faithful rendition of Cap's mask underneath...perhaps for the modern version? If that happens, I will be pleased with the aesthetics of the character. I still have great concerns for the director, Joe Johnston. His track record (and results) when handed big budget films or Iconic characters has never been very good. Perhaps this will be his break through. One other very curious note: The initial Cap figure shown at the Toy Fair has a very different helmet design (and color scheme on the sleeves) from what is shown here. It would appear the Studio has been reworking the look based on the wave of negative feedback.Last edited by MIB41; Nov 7, '10, 9:33 AM.Comment

Can't disagree with you John but I'll reserve judgement to see how their rendition works into the story. In Batman Begins and DK I think they used the application of "armor" very well and adpated it into a decent redition. Like wise with Iron Man. Not sure there is anything to "work in" with Thor but will still reseve judgement. I'm still waititng to hear an explanation of why they lost Billy Zane's Striped brief's in The PhantomLOOK

^^ But that is the problem. There have been several incarnations of Cap...so which suit do you use? Everyone has their favorite depending upon when they were born and what CA means to them.
We are children of the 70's, so we like that look. But not everyone else does...and apparently, the producers don't either.
I can live with this version. It is modern and stylized - and still faithful to what I see as Captain America. And...I've always loved the WWII version of Cap anyway.Comment

I know this I am sick of seeing cgi photos of prototypes when i pay money to buy a figure mag.
The 1990s cap costume was accurate. But he had rubber ears. i noticed because when he slides under a Nazi truck in teh begining one of his wings gets caught for a second and the whole side of his face moves.
I understand why the old serial and the Reb Brown movies got rid of teh wings.Comment

Plus... it just isn't fair to assume that a costume can move from
2-D to 3-D and from decade to decade and stay the same...
keeping the same suit 24/7 rain or shine no matter where or when,
well, that seems way more irrational."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment
