I always thought these sort of figures were designed for pre-schoolers, like the Fisher Price figures are, rather than mainstream collectors.

I'd definitely like to see a box set of all the Doctors done like that

They've only done Tennant and a few monsters so far. I'm not sure the line did that well.
They're also smaller than i thought, only 1"-2" tall and imo the Sontaran is the best one.

My niece and nephew love the Superhero Squad stuff. They are 4 and 6, so within the target age group. They seem to be the perfect toys to keep in their pockets to play with when they are out at restaurants or in the car.

It's been previously noted that someone at Mattel has a twisted sense of humour by packaging Green Arrow with Prometheus given what has happened recently in DC Comics.

My kids play constantly with the Imaginext stuff and usually when they invite friends over the Batcave will be involved in playtime.
        It's all good!

They're great for kids. The problem is that some collectors I know on other boards collect them like DCUC or Marvel Legends. They have to have every single interrpretations of their favorite characters. They don't leave anything for kids to play with. They need to draw the line somwhere.

Yep. They don't tickle my collector bone.

The Hellraiser figure pictured is amusing though.

I read an interview back when they started the Marvel Spidety and Friends ( Cap with a Helipack?)

They said they would never do Ghost Rider or Punisher because of the sunbject . They did do Wolvie

But I really cant believe I saw a Red Skull super squad!! ( with a mini cute Cosmic Cube)

I think they're OK, but my boys love them. It's Imaginext meets Super Hero Squad meets B&B meets Star Wars meets Scooby Doo. It reminds me of when my Megos were fighting Mazinga, Godzilla, "Giant Pulsar" etc. when I was a kid. I'll never collect them, but the play value between the playsets, vehicles, and figures is nothing to sneeze at.

Totally agreed. My two-year-old son is crazy for the Batman: The Brave and the Bold Action League figures. Because of the show and the figures, he knows who Metamorpho is, and talks about him nearly every morning when he wakes up.

Here's to kids showing love for Rex Mason!

I bought Ronin at a flea market for fifty cents. I put him in my display case to sell at the Monster Cafe and so far no one has bought him.

I hate them to be honest.

I think that all in all they are great! I personally love the charm of them, I buy my nephew every Imaginext batman toy they put out, again he is 5, I think they just grow with kids now, in fact they just announced a new line that is a bit larger scaled and tricked out with new detailing and action features. So I think they are great, they are small and durable for play. Now he also has a handful of DCUC and retro action figures as well. he plays with them all equally.
