Yesterday I received the Stormtrooper, and today I received Fett. He is absolutely amazing! These are hands down the coolest Star Wars toys/collectibles since the original line. Hope they hurry up and announce the next one!Comment

So it appears that the ESB versions of the ST and Fett are exclusives with the ESB cardbacks. However, there are plans to re-release Fett and ST on regular SW cards to the General Public. Which means people will have a chance to get one.
They will be issuing 12 new ones:
- Sand People
- Luke Skywalker
- Stormtrooper
- C-3PO
- Jawa
- Han Solo
- R2-D2
- Darth Vader
- Ben Kenobi
- Chewbacca
- Princess Leia Organa
- Boba Fett
After that, then the Cantina creatures. If the line is a success, then maybe more.
I want a Blue Snaggletooth! My second fav figure.

Well ironically they just made the first small head Boba Fett version. I was going over the measurements for the ... special project I have:
and I discovered the measurements are all seriously wackadoo.
(If this is lame just skip, but the OCD mechanical engineer trapped inside me found this interesting)
The theoretical conversion rate should be 12:3.75 (inches), or 3.2:1.
The only piece measured that is a true scale reproduction is the missile top at 3.2:1 scale width (though 24MM short because of the cut-off inside). The head is too small (3.07:1 scale) and the rocket housing is too big (3.625:1 scale) - I'm sure partly to accommodate the 4.5MM rocket housing wall width, but even so there's 4MM wiggle room for the rocket, which is a 25% increase in flop space over the original.
If I used that scaling for the J-slot conversion the rocket would never fly straight... I'll have to make a new one.
Weird that the head is so small though. It's interesting to me how much digital tweaking went on with these to design them like nothing had been done.Comment
