Don't forget that Hasbro is also doing a rocket-firing Boba Fett. He's the sculpt that came out around the time of the infamous Holiday Special and just before The Empire Strikes Back!

The AT-AT (and other EMPIRE STRIKES BACK vehicles) will be sold at various retailers (K-mart, Walmart, Etc.). But they will only be available in Vintage style packaging at Toys R Us... at least that is what I understand.

It'll cost ya. He is a mail-in redemption. (of course).
I think it is 5 pops plus some shipping? Works out to something like $50??

With Kenner releasing vintage-style packaging, and now a rocket-firing Boba, I wonder sometimes if they aren't considering a re-release of the entire vintage action figure line. If EMCE could it with Star Trek and POTA, and Mattel with MOTU (and Playing Mantis with Captain Action, etc.)... kinda makes me wonder.

That thing is huge. It makes the old version look like a child version.

Yah it is 5 figures that you have to buy! I just did not anticipate it looking so incredible on the original card.

Did anyone pick up the 4-Lom and Zuckuss from the Jedi-Con that was in Germany???? I got mine!

Alright... just passin' the time waiting for the release of the AT-AT.

With all the talk of Hasbro's offerings of "Vintage Style" packaging for some of these vehicles, I decided to see what that would look like for the new AT-AT.

I have no interest in getting the AT-AT in the Clone Wars-style packaging. For me, it's the Vintage Kenner style box or nuthin'!

So... I had a little fun with Photoshop.

Now, I know they will not go in this direction due to size practicality. But I designed a box that would hold the new AT-AT FULLY ASSEMBLED (just like the vintage Kenner walker).

So THAT means a box with dimensions that are about 26" high x 30" long X 13" wide.

In a vintage Kenner style, I'd like to see something like this:
