I sense a lot of people are going to be buying that scooter so they can use it for Megos.

I don't think parents are paying outrageous prices on the secondary market. I think it is adult collectors. Parents will make due and figure out a way to get something for the kid.

I guess she's kind of a blend of a few Fright On backgrounders. I expected Mattel to produce a Gory Fangtell and Bram Devein after Fright On, given the trademarks, but they haven't been too inclusive of other one-offs (Valentine, Andy, etc.) from the specials.

I was thinking about the market for these yesterday, and how anytime I see something new in the wild I have to buy it because I most definitely will not see it again. I've done pretty well assembling my collection, but it's certainly taken an effort and commitment to searching. I was thinking how other collectors have tried to do the same, how many new/monster/action-figure fans have come on board in the last year, and how hot this line is for the early bird scalpers...I can't imagine how kids find these dolls. No wonder parents are paying outrageous prices on the secondary market. That's all the little girls need now, truckers buying up all their Abbeys and Clawdeens.

none of that stuff in central TX. The shelves are simply decimated anytime I look for MH items.

Thanks! Picked up the TRU exclusive Ghoulia w/Scooter set today, very cool. I didn't realize Sir Hoots-A-Lot came with too...

They also had the exclusive Powder Room w/Draculaura but the box was trashed so I passed, but picked up the rest of the Ghouls Rule line.

...and those darn DDG I said I was gonna pass on. It's a sickness. They do look cool MIB next to the last DotD wave though.

I managed to stick to my guns and pass on the roller derby wave though. For now. Aaaand one local target had the most recent fashion packs on clearance for $6 and some change if anyone's looking for those. All in all, a nice Monster haul...still no sign of the school playset in stores here though.

Because I'm indecisive, love packaging as much as the product, and generally can't do anything the easy way...I picked up some more CaM starter sets this week to play Frankenstein with. I've managed to stay away from these for so long with the reasoning that the line already has a Vampire, Sea Monster, Werewolf, etc., and with the addition of secondary family characters, I'd have plenty to display without cluttering shelves with nameless background/non-characters. That logic worked for a while. But these things are just so darned cool and really flesh out the Monster High student body when you stick them in school colors.

I'm sure they'll look great in the gym and halls of the Monster High playset, out now in areas other than my own.

Apparently the Werewolf/Dragon pack will be shipping with both torsos alongside the Mummy/Gorgon and Blob/Ice Girl packs.

Looks like Bratz is going to try to go after the MH market with their new line of Bratzillaz dolls.

Toys”R”Us is the leading kids store for all toys, video games, dolls, action figures, learning games, building blocks and more. C'mon, Let's Play!

Probably their most inspired looking dolls but I don't think they'll put a dent into MH and they still look like they have fish mouths.
