Man, Kilmer Batman has been working on his chest! These are fun, but I wish they'd dialed that back a bit. The Kenner figures were pretty propotional, overall. I would have preferred a movie accurate Robin and Riddler too, but these are obviously based on the closest variants Kenner put in the regular line. The standard Robin came in a two-pack with the Sonar Suit Batma, for instance.

I did pick up the 89 Batwing/Batman Returns Keaton set Spin Masters releaseed this year, and it's really well done, especially at that price point.

I'm not understanding Spinmaster either...the original Batman Forever figures are still available for anyone who wants to seek them out...I can see re-releasing the Batmobile though...

I am just not sure about this lineup. If they did the regular Robin I would have picked it up. May get the Batmobile if I see it. I just wish they would have stuck with the 4inch size or even do their version of Super Powers like the Toybiz DC Superheroes. I would have bought them lineup for that.

I saw this rumor too. I hope they tone the strange proportions on the Batman Forever line if they are doing these. It would be nice to get a Nuclear Man and Helen Slater Supergirl since we've never gotten them in any figure line.

I think the proportions on the Batman Forever figures are done on purpose because they are copying existing figures, like Hydro Claw Robin and Blast Cape Batman. The Batman 89 figures will most likely mirror the Dark Knight Collection style.

I think you're right, but they've went even wonkier than some of the Kenner figure proportions for my tastes. Kenner's Sonar Suit Batman from the two-pack was a little thick chested, but the new one looks like he can't even buckle his belt. ;-)
