Marvel Legends Nicholas Hammond Spider-Man '77

Maybe it's my age, but I remember watching the show in the 70s, but I cannot remember one specific thing about any episode! I wish Disney+ would add it and the '67 cartoon.

That said, my pre-order is still active, but the release date is August 28. In true Hasbro fashion though, I expect that date to get moved up to late June/July.

I forgot to mention in my previous posts that the boots are two-toned, like the film/TV show. The tops are a lighter shade, while the rest of the boots are darker. The gloves also appear to possibly be two-toned as well, but its much more subtle than the boots. You have to look very closely to notice it. The mask also has a bit of sculpting for the nose and mouth, and even has some "wrinkles" in the back. The paper insert is the skyline shot shown on the packaging/movie poster.
I just re-watched a couple of episodes and they are still very entertaining. It's a shame they haven't been released to DVD or Blu-ray.

I was wondering about that cause from the reviews ive seen so far it doesnt seem like the headsculpt has that "guy wearing a mask" look to it like the Toei Spidey headsculpt has.

My favorite episode is probably deadly dust. Hammond and Joanna Cameron running around LA is pretty fun and the 2 henchmen he fights seem like they could be a version of Fancy Dan & Ox, part of the Enforcers from the comics.

I just watched THE DEADLY DUST last night. Really great film/two episodes.

Well, just like with the Mego Atlas figures that I preordered, Walmart has cancelled my Marvel Legends Spider-Man ‘77 preorder. I got the following message:

“Sorry, we had to cancel your Walmart preorder due to an inventory issue.”

Hopefully it’ll go back up at some point as an In Stock item.
i hate Walmart.

I'm really sorry to hear that. Miraculously, my order was shipped. I'm not sure how it made it through. I won't completely believe it until it arrives this weekend, however.

I was surprised my order went through too and suppose to arrive tomorrow. But Walmart really needs to improve how it does it's preorders. Oh and related I saw on a FB post that Joanna( Isis) Cameron was on the show.

Yeah i noticed the sold out listing raised the price by 5 a while back. Not sure why he gets increased while the other figure that went up for preorder around the same time (a ghost rider/spidey mashup) stayed the same. Mine is expected tomorrow...also seeing the jaws rerelease tomorrow so should be a fun day lol..

Mine is saying today now instead of yesterday but, i have a feeling with it being a holiday it'll probably be tomorrow. Oh well, ive waited 40+ years a couple of days isnt going to hurt.
One thing Im anxious to try when I get them is to use the ML 20th Captain America saluting hand as Spidey's webshooting hand. Since that's the same hand gesture as his web shooting hand. Right off the bat, i feel like Cap's hand might be a shade darker but im hoping on a shelf 3 or 4 feet away it will be "close enough". Also looking into touching up his eyes,belt and webshooter.
Oh yeah, btw, if I hit the string with hair spray would that stiffen it so I can keep it displayed with the figure without attaching it to anything?
