I was hoping the 12" figs might be good for kitbashing, BK--armor/accessories/new heads & helmets.

But Hasbro's recent varied skin tones have made bashing difficult.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

I was hoping the 12inchers would be good for kitbashing as well. Instead they use a mish mash of body parts (part classic collection gi joe, part monstrousity) and the gear is kinda crappy.
I dont mind the 3 3/4 figures, but like BK said, that stupid oversized weapon things really is over the top. Reminds me of Kenner/Hasbro figures from the 1990's. Everybody came with a lame-o oversize rocket firing something or other. Not necessary here at all.

What I really dont get is why they brought back the 8" Joe design from a couple years ago? They have figures in 50 different scales already, was one more really necessary to the overall marketing scheme here?

He was a Surprise for Me,.. Because I didn't know he was in this Line,.. Nore possible Movie,.. & had a Figure. I would never Question the Awesomeness of ShipWreck. Next to Snake Eye's,.. He is my Favorite Joe Ever,... I also Like Quick Kick, GungHo & RoadBlock. Those Were the "Good" Joe's I had the Most fun with as a Kid.

If your into them like that,... You will have to go & check them out Dude... Perhaps something can be there for you. The One's I saw Have the "Hard Plastic" for Clothing,.. Which for Modern Toys for Me is Just Lame-O ,.. & I can never look Past that stuff,.. in the Age Of Hot Toys , SideShow & DC Direct 13inchers. & Ofcourse Snake Eye's Has the Pants,.. with the "Hard Plastic" shirt.

I think I did Like Storm Shadow,.. to Be Honest,.. But Quickly Bailed,.. so no more Cash would be spent.

Yes,... That is the Lines Name I was Looking for , when I was calling them Classic's.... The 25th Line,.. was just SOOOOOOOO Damn Bad Arse,.. I couldn't believe How cool they are. I have a Bunch of them.. & The Average Price was also only 6 Bucks up here....

I am A Bit disapointed that Hasbro didn't take Note with the Popularity of that line,.. & Design the Packaging & File cards for these new Figures to Look like those,.. but with Movie Packaging... I think they woulda Made them look a little cooler too.

              impact armor duke

All I scene was the Desert Duke Whatever,.. I almost bought Him,.. But didn't know if that was the Version I wanted just yet...

hasbro also just aired Gi Joe resolute on adult swim a gi joe cartoon geared towrds adults. I think its off adult swim now but go to youtube and type in gi joe resolute there are 11 parts and people actually get shot and die and the fight between snake eyes and storm shadow is kick ***. Some resolute figures have hit the stores already. and i hope they are going to make more.

I don't think those are the Sigma Line...
They are something New for Joes...
Star Wars had something very similar,.. some sorta over sized figures for the Younger Kiddies... Snake Eye's almost came Home with me.

Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
                  Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.

Not really impressed with what I saw. Over sized fake looking guns. All the figures look the same. I actually liked the old unique outfits as colorful and unmiliteristic as they were.

BK i love everything you have said in this thread. I finally got a good look at the stuff a few days ago as my walmart had the dislay out. I think the mini rigs were way overpriced. Almost 16 bucks was way high. I only saw a few of the figures, the snake eyes, stormshadow series. again the figures are priced too high. and i can't stand the giant guns, they remind me off the crap they tried giving us in the 90's. I am getting a bit more excited about the movie. Trying to tell myself it's not the same gi-joe but enjoy it anyway.
