    Hmm, George most likely wins.

I do agree with Chris that the Remco Mighty Crusaders were such a cool thing to have happen to those obscure characters. Too bad the execution sucked so badly, it's like Remco took a serious tumble in the 80's.

This is an awesome thread. I didn't know about the Mighty Crusaders figures--are there images online?

And what's the info on the awesome Hoppy figure?

Yeah George, how about some more info? That Hoppy figure is very cool, is that from the 1940's? It must be damn hard to find.

Yep, I've been posting about it over in the Comic Book Forum in the "Proof That God Has a Sense of Humor" thread. This Hoppy is currently being auctioned by Hake's and is one of only two known to exist. I don't know the exact date it was made, but mid-1940's sounds reasonable. I'd never even heard of it before this one surfaced. If my daughter hadn't started college this week, I'd be plotting how to raise the money to bid on him

I'm very fond of the Captain Marvel Corgi Car.

I was really happy when Animal Man got his own figure via the 52 line...

Plus, you got to love the Ethnic Superfriends whenever they appear.

I would have loved for their to have been an Apache Chief as part of the Harvey Birdman Adult Swim line of Action figures.

Although not really a "vintage" toy line the characters themselves are. It's too bad this line didn't continue beyond these first four:

What makes it for me is the little Captain Marvel head sticking out of it.

I always find that kind of thing rather charming and wish more of the die cast Superhero cars today would opt more towards that kind of wackiness rather than simply putting superhero graphics and decals on cars.

A friend of mine has a rubber "Froggy" figure from "Andy's Gang," which was a live action kid's show from the 50s with Andy Devine!
