Was this them? Also note that the smaller Tryano had a very slightly different head sculp with the body being exactly the same as it's larger counterpart which came about a year or two later.

The larger one (about 6-8" in height if memory serves correct) used to be my Godzilla figure before I finally found the crappy bendable one from the end of the 70's and then that was replaced with the plastic "Godzilla's gang" version from Mattel in 79 that I was lucky enough to find. At that point I think this brown dino became my Gorosaurus and my replica tyrano toy from the Rankin/Bass film "the last dinosaur"

I have one of these types of toys; it's a rubber alligator type guy made of that squishy/oily vinyl type material, maybe 4 inches tall. It's standing on it's hind legs and waving (a cartoony sort of creature) with an open smiling mouth and hard plastic plastic eyes. I got this toy when I was about 5 years old, my oldest possession. I'd love to know who made it or where I can get more. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Personally I cannot say I have ever heard or seen it, but it sounds awesome. I would love to see a picture. In a way it kind of sounds like one of those "welcome to Florida" (or your state here) mementos that could be found in tourist gift shops.

Yep, those look like the other two dinos that I had. I think mine were the smaller versions. Did Imperial make any others besides those three? I'm 99% sure that the fleamarket I bought mine at just had the three types.

I'll be honest with you: I have no idea. Through the years you keep seeing the same things, but then out of the clear blue something you have never seen before will emerge. Imperial might have made more on scale with that first small bunch, If they did I never them.
