    Dreams of Glory

Ok, I would so totally use a set of these on my bed today. This picture also features one of my favourite things, the use of toys in the child's bedroom set. For some reason, I really like that extra detail, I probably need to get out more. That's the Dinky Toys Enterprise by the way, one of the cooler 70's Star Trek Toys IMO.

Nothing says "1976" more than the Six Million Dollar Man and Evel Knievel, the matching curtains are just too cool. That's an Ideal Evel crash car on the nightstand BTW. I slept in a hammy down bed which you couldn't get kids sheets for, so I had to settle for pillow cases, if you had these, I envy you.

WOW! All my faves! I'd sleep on those now too! I have a SMDM quilted blanket (probably made from a bed sheet) w/ that same pattern, w/ the name "Jim" stitched on the back. I wonder how many sleepovers Jim went to w/ that blanket? I have seen that Star Trek bedspread once on Ebay for a LOT of money. Same w/ the EK sheet. But one day they'll be mine! One day....

All you need now is a sofa with the SMDM or EK fabric upholstered on to it. A set of matching curtains, heck, thrown in some matching wallpaper and you've got a great 70's experience.

Those are sweet. I had sheet/pillow sets of Super Friends, Peanuts, Bambi (hand me down from my sister, I refused to use them past age 5) MOTU, GI Joe: RAH, and M.A.S.K. My kid uses them now!

I never had any bedspread/comforters though. That Trek one is awesome. So busy and cool. 6MDM and EK sets look like typical 70s floral patterns from a distance!
