yeah, super powers were alot nicer than marvels secret wars. don't get me wrong secret wars is the only marvel line from the 1980's and did make the first x-men figures (magneto, iceman, wolverine) but super powers made twice as many figures and jack kirby designed some of the packages.

I really liked Shazam! & Aquaman. Of the later waves, Samurai was cool.
I remember being fascinated by Wonder Woman's action feature and disappointed with Penguin's blue hat & coat.
But I have a complete collection of them and love 'em--they filled my toy craving after Mego folded.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

I've been thinking about it and can't pick a favorite Super Powers figure. I loved most of them (especially the 1st wave) and the Hall of Justice, not to mention the Batmobile.
- IanRampart, this is Squad 51. How do you read?Comment

At one point I owned three complete sets. They used to be a little cheaper to get than they are now. I know longer have these sets as I sold them off but have started collecting again. I have collected 10 figures in mint condition in about a month thanks to fellow member Starsky. I also picked up a mint red tornado, dr. fate, superman, and firestorm in mint condtion with comics for 50.00. I am still hoping to get more especially aquaman and green arrow. They are my favorites.Comment
