The Dynamic Duo nab the Penguin

i'm almost positive this slide comes from a former Kenner file, especially seeing as these are the suits used in the mid 80s to promote the Super Powers brand. I'm loving that Batman suit.....

OK--My first thought was: Awesome! And Batman's cowl is great.

My second thought was: How come a 12-year-old Mr. Creosote is playing Penguin?

By the way the Penguin is dressed, he looks to be in his Super Powers outfit. Great find!

Batman is saying, "Make way, citizens, make way." I'm amazed Cobblepott smoked in the park, he really is an arch-villain.

Just got it confirmed by someone who has the Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake slides that this is the Cincinnati zoo and most definitely a Kenner based promotion

I'm not totally sure, but wasn't there a Brady Bunch episode in a theme park in Cincinnati, filmed on location?
I think the episode was called, The Cincinnati Kids? I think Marsha or Jan accidently switched the Fathers
company sketches with a Yogi Bear poster? wonder if this was the same park?

plus that Robin outfit looks kinda like the one worn in the 1940's serial chapters. Batman looks straight from
                the Mego figure.

This is so amazing. Where do you find this stuff? Love the Batman suit. Looks so much cooler than an ill fitting black rubber Batman.

I believe that BB episode was filmed at King's Island, which had featured many Hanna-Barbara characters.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Found it. Thank you. Strawberry is dressed in the Party Pleaser outfit. That would date that pic to 84.

My god am I depressed. I'm an hour away from the Cincinnati Zoo. And I missed this. First Seaworld...now this.

I do remember the Cincinnati Museum of Natural History, which was the basis for the Hall of Justice, had an exhibit on Kenner back in the 90s, and they had an SP Hall of Justice inside the actual Hall of Justice. Surreal.

King's Island near Cincinnati is also where the opening sequence of The Banana Splits was filmed. And yes, for several decades, the kid part of the park was Hanna Barbara themed.

Not to twist the knife Chris, but for me, SeaWorld was truly the stuff of which dreams were made. They had a terrific Japanese pearl-diving exhibition; I always though it would've be neat if water-skiing Aquaman popped in there or with the dolphin show as a cross-sell.
