Saw your McDonald's pic over on Facebook. That Big Mac was cool looking.

Oh yeah, Ed and I both posted a pic of that same insanely cramped store. The owner uses every possible spot in the store, including the ceiling (he is overpriced but I can't imagine what his rent would be). He knows some English and really tries to sell ("this item is mint condition!", "I have <such and such> item at home. I will bring, please come back tomorrow!")Comment

Daoromon Happy Meal toys were the coolest thing about McD's.

they have regular Big Macs as well. that burger you saw had an egg in it and some kind of miso/bbq sauce.

my favourite is the deep fried breaded shrimp burgers. Had one at McDonalds, but also had one at Mos Burger yesterday.

Last year, Chris bought two huge boxed Aliens that he lugged around Tokyo like a champ and through rush hour on the train. I mocked him for it the entire time.
of course this year I had to pick one up as well. Not having the iron willed constitution of Mr Jefferys, I immediately handed it off to my wife (luckily her office building was a block away)

Crap I just almost finished typing a big post and then lost it due to the crappy wifi hotspot I've been using. Because of that and being very busy for our trip home tomorrow I won't be able to post more stuff until I'm back in Canada. To be continued!Comment

Weird assorted pics:
Yes, this is a man dressed as a tomato walking up and down a train platform. Advertising? A weird fetish? We will never know. Ed and I scrambled to try and get a front view pic, but our train showed up so we had to leave.

Here is a Japanese rack toy for Brian, a weird set of plastic dinosaurs, guns, CB radio, etc. I almost bought it...

This one is for Dana, weird vending machines featuring bizarre bondage figures and women's underwear. After I took this pic, a strange old guy popped up from behind the machines yelling "No photos!", so Ed and I had to run away.

I think the one on the left is a rare Combat Joe Ultraman figure. It was selling for around $1200.00!
