We have your list sir. The negative is that most of the stores there are Mandarake owned, which tend to be overpriced for Japan. The positive is that Noppin fees and shipping prices might make up for that.

Ed and I hit Nakano and Shibuya today. Idiot me forgot my camera but I did have my iPad so I managed a few pics with that. I'm sure Ed will post a bunch of pics from today.

That vinyl Kong in the lower right of the first pic is a toy I've been looking for for years. Unfortunately I wasn't really willing to pay $450 for this loose one. When I saw it I really was hoping it wouldn't be that much!

I would not have made a good Japanese child. This stuff does nothing for me, but glad you found stuff you are excited about.

Did Hasbro have different packaging for the Lock, Shock, and Barrel?

Actually the Nightmare stuff is Japanese Jun Planning items from the 90's. Japanese customs always seems amused when it comes to my baggage. I bought a lot of 90's bandai Godzilla vinyls so far, some to keep, some to flip, so I'm happy just with that so far!

Brian, wait till you see Ed's pics!

Scored some awesome stuff in this store (overpriced, but it's not easy finding Japanese Spider-man stuff and Gatchaman). Chris and I had to take turns going in... it was so cramped that our oversized shopping bags would have made it impossible to navigate. you can hardly turn without knocking something over as you squeezed through the aisle.

that does not look like it will all fit in that one suitcase!

See you in TWO HOURS at Mandarake Akihabara. (I'm counting it down like Rain Man and the People's Court)

                                Love the pics so far.

What's weird is that I really get a charge out of seeing prominently displayed price stickers on everything.

That and the insanely efficient use of tiny spaces.
