Remember when they made 8" Star Wars figures in 1979?

Had several opportunities to own those Takara figures but passed because they were too pricey. Needless to say they're far more pricey now than back then. Oops.

And I missed out on that Irwin Toys SW book as well (*facepalm.....)

I'm kicking myself for never picking up this book. I remember looking through it at bookstores when it first came out. Looking at those Amazon prices, it doesn't look like I'm getting one soon...

I picked up a stack of them for five bucks a piece years ago... I think I blew them out at the time for ten bucks each or something like that.

I'm sure they will occasionally turn up in used books stores around town, since it was a local publication. I'll keep my eyes peeled for you.
