My favorite Mego packaging is probably the 1975 WGSH Marvel card, especially the pics on the back. I stared at them for hours and used to try and draw them as a kid.

Also, I love the Micronauts packaging. I have little interest in collecting that line without the boxes/cards because that's such a big part of it's appeal to me.

I love the Shogun Warriors boxes, I can stare at them for hours even now and wish I had them all!

I like the 1960's & 70's Board Game packaging that showed children playing with the toy & they're always SUPER-EXCITED, good times!

I am going to use this pic for another post, but the art work on these sets is great, I used to have this

"What motivated him to throw a puppy at the Hells Angels is currently unclear,"

Starroid Raiders Dagon wrote "No Dime Store Monster left behind"

I have lots of favourites, but this one has special meaning to me:

I accidently broke my first Johnny West figure that summer (about 1974 or 75) and was heartbroken. Johnny was more than a toy, he was my best friend, and I dreaded a future without the plastic cowpoke along for the ride. The toy line was starting to fade in popularity by this time, and I just couldnt find a new Johnny in the local toy departments...I thought I was sunk. Then, on Christmas morning I opened a package set prominently in front of the tree, like Santa meant it to be opened first...and there I found myself looking at the above package. Johnny was back in the saddle! My Sister received Princess Wildflower that year, so the Best of the West rode the range that Christmas Day.

My cousins had a Johnny West figure, but didn't know who he was. We always thought he looked like John Wayne. Hey, it was John, right?

I think my favorite card packaging art was from Mattel's Clash of the Titans.

Larami Martian Chronicles carded figures. Love everything about them: The colors, the illustrations, the font and seeing Mr. Bradbury's name on them.

I love the Micronauts packages, especially the Ken Kelly aliens.
