A little more Kung Fu Grip Love

It's true, I loves me some GI Joe. While I have no room to put it all, I sure like to window shop.

Wow, you're really pulling out all the stops with these Joe ads. Love it. Between the years of 1970-1976 GI Joe was always a part of my Christmas!

I didn't have any Joes as a kid, but my cousins did. They had a Sea Adventurer and an Air Adventurer. I do have plenty of them now, vintage and modern 12" . The HQ, Turbo copters, 2 ATVs, and LOADS of clothing and accerories. I do have a classic Air Adventurer w/ new KFG hands, plus the ones that were for sale a few years back, but their hands are too stiff.

It did but I'm sure many Joes were lost in tragic tree related accidents...

When I was a member of the GIJCC they had a story from one of the other members who had a SkyHawk. He said it flew and the string broke he ended up losing the SkyHawk and Joe in a huge tree.

The Adventure Team era has to have some of the most fun looking GiJoe toys ever.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

12" GI Joes were the Coolest figures and playsets ever made! That SkyHawk would have been awesome to have,i would have tried to rig another string to release a parachuting Joe.That i'm sure would have probably resulted in both ending up in a tree somewhere or one of the two being lost.

Great memories of playing with GI Joes as a kid.

That helicopter was actually allot of fun to play with. My thumb did get worn out pretty quick though having to push that button continuously to spin the blades. After a while, I would just fly the copter and pretend the blades were spinning with the rest of the adventure. I picked up the headquarters about 10 years ago. After putting it together and seeing it work in perfect condition, I wish I had it as a kid. What am I saying? I'm still that kid.

is this a Canadian ad? I noticed that Talking AT Commander is available in FRENCH or English, LOL. And $7.99 seems to be an astonishingly high price for 1976. That's like 26 comic books!

If the prices are high, it must be Canada
That single catalog page is so full of treasure it makes me giddy.
