I remember the comic ads for those. My 4-year old mind wondered why anyone would want to hurt Superman...
Love the box art though.
I should point out that Steve posts some great Superman stuff every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I really enjoy seeing all of the great and varied things he shares. If you're not checking it out, you should!

I always thought it was funny how something poisonous to Superman always depicts him standing strong on the box artwork. I would have to say if Superman was ever going to re-gift something, this would be it.But this kind of toy is always cool to see. That would be a nice piece in anyone's collection.

There is a cool mini kit available at bookstores that features a miniature display of Kryptonite. It lights up and looks like a miniature version of the one DCD released years ago.Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figuresComment

I remember buying that back in 1977. I don't have the box but I still have the 2 Kryptonite rocks.Comment

Somebody here sent me one as a bonus throw in on an order I placed, I got it with a Large Star Wonder woman and a few CAH. Looks like a green painted piece of chalk lolComment

"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment
