With his "Dust Buster" action move... My brother has Dusty and Andre, two of the higher priced figures.

I was amazed by how many of these guys whose figures I have are passed away.....I think it was like 10 or so....My Legion of the Dead

lol! does he have the Dusty carded? if you have the Warrior in purple carded on a US card it's worth some big bucks!

The LJN series were awesome in their day, you could bend the legs and put the opponent into a modified figure four. They won't wear out in a million years, other than paint rubs. I never saw the AWA series in stores in my area, only 1 page ads in the old wrestling magazines. They made some truly horrible figures, wrestlers nobody would want to own.

There was 2 pack and I think Steve Regal was one of them.

          That was a cool set.

Yeah, steve "mr. electricity" regal, not to be confused with Lord Steven Regal from wcw and wwf/wwe.

I think he has the card, the figure is loose and there may or may not be a bubble.

Is the purple Warrior the one where you push down on his head and his arms swing about? Same gimmick as Giant Gonzalez I think. If so I have that one (I think it was the 3rd Warrior) as well as the first version. Probably have the card with bubble attached but the Warrior is loose. I think he's up in the attic with the Macho King and a few others I don't recall seeing when I looked through them this last weekend.

yeah that's the Warrior,if it would've been sealed you were looking at like $300+ ,he's the rarest figure on a U S card

i had a few of the hasbro line sold em dirt cheap about 2 1/2 years ago. the early figures were the old school wrestlers like andre, dusty, rude and the later figures were like kid, razor, yokozuna, michaels it's funny how in 4 or 5 years wrestling changed so much.

A kid I played with up the street had tons of the LJN figures, and the original ring. At first I thought they were lame for being immovable, but they really worked well in the ring. You could fling them clear across the room using the elastic ropes. And those things were HEAVY. You could thump the crap out of someone with them.

I never saw the AWA, or if I did I probably mistook them for generic made-up wrestlers. It was WWF or nothing for me.

I had all of the first few series of LJN and I think I had all of the AWA line. Also the LJN wring and the AWA cage ring. Sold it all to a comic book stove about 10 years ago for like $200.00. I was only into wrestling for like 2-3 years and after that could not have cared less about any of the stuff. They were cool to collect though and the AWA line at least had playability
