Fighting Furies? Tell me all you know! I'm excited!

I've heard of them but not untill yetsrday did I see some of the amazing historical stuff on EBay. I love historical stuff. I would have been too young for these as a kid if they only lasted a year.
SO western was on inthe the UK ( just Like western action Man Gi Joe outfits ) and a glow in the dark guy and two ? sets ( pirate ships were made. No horse?

Will Mego, EMCE,Flatt, etc bodies fit the outfits?

    Thanks.

Thought I'd ask before I started spending.

I think the outfits are a little big for mego type figures. i have tons of these outfits for sale. Let me know if you're looking for them.

Anyone else have trouble calling it a toyline with only TWO living characters? The third figure was a ghost...so I am thinking he wasn't down with the Cunning Disguise aspect of most of the playsets...

Actually there was a 4th figure. Towards the end the line Matchbox put in with the clothing sets an un-named pirate!

Here's the un-named pirate "AKA" Captain Patch. He's a bit of a copy of the MEGO Captain Patch!

Well, you know I love all megos, I had most of them back in the late 70's / early 80's, but for some reason the Fighting Furies are still my all time favorite action figures.

Here's the ones I have (I am only missing Black McCoy, the American gunslinger!):

And here's the awesome horse for the Western figures, "Sundance" (which, to my knowledge, never made it to the stores anywhere):

I always drooled over the FF toys in my brothers Matchbox catalogs and wishing I could get them.
But for some reason I always remembered seeing a "not available in the USA" written in black on the pages, Am I not remembering right?

For some reason the only place that carried them was SEARS as i don't remember ever seeing em at J M Fields or K-Mart or Grants City
As a kid i wanted the ship from SEARS but only got Capt Pegleg
A great line but the Capt Kidd and SEARS only ship do get pricey

You maybe right, i believe the line lasted a lot longer in Europe so you may have read a catlog put out after the line was canceled here in the states

If anyone ever decides to sell the Crazy Horse figure, let me know. I am especially interested in it.
