there was plans for a 3rd run of Kenner large action figures incl luke bespin it would have been great

vintage SW 3 in - all these have been issued in the modern era but I wanted them then in the original style articulation & sculpt (aside from those you listed) I wanted luke in the medal ceremony yellow jacket, sandtrooper, han in stormtrooper disguise, tatoine Biggs (when I saw it in the star wars storybook I wanted him more than the myriad of backround aliens kenner did make), Boba fett in animation paint scheme (holiday special or Droids) Ig88 as he appeared in droids cartoon

Mego - titans scale Robin, Hawkman,

Battlestar gallactica - a viper in scale with the mattel figures, Apollo

Star Wars: Why the heck didn't they make figures for the Rebel Soldiers from the Blockade Runner at the beginning of Star Wars? Those seem like they would have been an obvious choice for action figures.

Also, I would have liked to have had an Evazan figure too. He actually had dialog and a much larger role in the film than several of the cantina figures that were produced.

While we're on the topic of cantina figures, I realize that Walrus Man is supposed to be Ponda Baba, but it would have been nice if he actually looked like Ponda Baba instead of the figure that they made. Heck, they had a photo of the guy right there on the card! He obviously doesn't look right.

Mego: Lex Luthor, Lex Luthor and Lex Luthor! Green Lantern and Flash would have been nice too. Actually, there are quite a few that I wish they'd made, but Lex Luthor is the arch enemy of the biggest superhero character of all time. How can you leave him out?!?!
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

Dale in the Mattel Flash Gordon line. They made Lizard Woman but not Dale. I still don't get that.

Apollo, Boomer and Athena in the Mattel BSG line. Vehicles in scale with the 3 3/4 inch figures.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

the rest of the fellowship from Knickerbockers Lord of the Rings line. Boromir, Gimli, and Legolas would have been reel cool to see.

the second set of Droids cartoon figures.

            the 3 3/4 Alien toys

Dark Crystal actually hitting the shelves would have been REALLY cool.

How about a talking GI Joe nurse. She might've had to be pretty busty to get the talker mechanism in there.

man, this could go on for days

Dr. Venom was a recent GI Joe club exclusive of a character from the GI Joe comic books. There's a YouTube clip with a review of the line here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNuUMWXY0OI (Dr. Venom is shows about 2 minutes in)

Kwinn was also a character from the comic book who was made into a figure YEARS later. Here's a link to his page on YoJoe.com:

Oh yeah, when I was a kid I always hoped they would make one of those and was disappointed when it never happened. Even in Japan, a Jumbo Machinder style Gamera was never made. I would love a 2 foot tall Gammy with wheels on his feet and shooting fists.

The Rebel Blockade Runner seems to get no love. There was a 3 & 3/4 proposal made but not produced for Kenner. No official model kit from MPC. There have been Die-cast Titaniums, plastic micro's from Galoob, 1 version in the action fleet and an electronic one which I bought. That one is the best so far but the one people really seem to want is an official model kit.

Would like to have seen the Logan's Run figures *NOT* incinerated. If they had stripped the bodies of the heads & costumes I bet they would have been saved and turning up on eBay of years now. A Logan's Run Solar car would'a been nice.

I wish they had not decided against doing Ark II and The Man From Atlantis. From what Brian has said they had the Ark II character heads sculpted in clay when they abandoned the proj.

Would like to have seen MEGO do more with the Buck Rogers line-more characters and more ships. The Hawkship alone is a tremendous loss for toy enthusiasts.

Still can't figure why MEGO did 12" ST-TMP, Buck and Black Hole when they should have done 8" instead. It must'a been some kind of conceit on their part that 12" figures would sell better.

I wish they had done the Marvel Comics Micronauts at some point. I would love to have had a Bug or Marionette figure. Or a Karza and Biotron in the same scale of the regular figures. I think it unlikely they ever would have done an Endeavor space-ship in any scale.

I wish Mego would have thought to adapt other characters to Micronauts bodies. I would also love to have seen a Space Ghost and Phantom Cruiser II from the 1980's in Micronauts scale.
