I had one of the Dolphins figures that I got for Christmas and my best friend got one of the Falcons and his older brother got a Rams figure the same year. I don't remember any of us ever getting any more of them.

Me to. I do not blame you one bit. I closed my account with Evil Bay a while back. It has actually saved me a great deal of money.

I still use the site for research as well. It is times like this that I do kind of think about reactivating my account just to buy again. I must try and stay strong and resist the urge. Even know some times it is very tempting...to tempting.

What kind of prices are we talking here? Just kind of curious to know what they might go for since I am "thinking" about starting a collection.

A good 3-digits if mint with football and helmet. A packaged one is crazy money. Also depends on the team as well. I've never tried to fix one, like the loose Cowboys I have. I don't know if there is a way to restring them like a T1.

Ok. Thanks Scott for the insight. At least it is a starting point for me anyway.

I may try to examine and apply a "fix" to one of mine later. I will be sure to post pictures and let you guys know how it went...or didn't go. Whichever is the case.

I started looking for these after my first post in this thread and these are crazy scarce and pricey as hell. Scott i did see a redskin one sold a few weeks ago but it was expensive. I have yet to see a mint one being sold.

A couple of years ago, someone had their football field up on ebay for sale. It was complete. I think it may have even had bleachers. Anyhow, the auction's end slipped my mind and it got away.

I really like these Team Mates figures. As a kid, I was always facinated by them. About 4 years ago I had the Steelers quaterback and loved it.

They are becoming rare, especially the black/african-american versions.

The field is just redunkulous rare. I've never seen one in person. Sorry I missed that Redskin figure.
