These were my favorites, I had them all but 3. The coolest feature was that the bases all fit together to make a giant scene. My local hobby shop had a factory painted display with the cave in their window.

Some attempts at some clearer close-ups:

                    Thanks everyone
Most, but not all of the loose ones that are partially painted I picked up that way so I am in the process of cleaning them up, trying to obtain any pieces they may be missing and then I will give them a better paint job.
If any one has any of these models, either complete with or without the box, loose or even just some of the parts and would like to make some money, please PM me and we can work out a deal or trade.

I agree, the colorful box art is what did it for me as a kid way back then,

that and of course being dinosaurs and all LOL

                          I agree.
I remember standing in the toy section of the local store just staring at all those boxes.
Debating which kit I would get if I actually had the money to buy one.
I would do that almost every day after school for ages.

It was always sooooo exciting when I actually could get one and take it home and build / play with it.

It's so cool how we all have similar fond memories of these kinds of toys from when we were kids

I've got them all now, I'm on burn out from model building so I put the rest back on the shelf for now, but I have all the cave people and Swamp to finish.

I might consider this. I have the pterodactyl molded in red (you can see him in my last three pics on this page if you look in the middle of the room by the 1970's rubber shades)
Our look at classic Japanese Monsters continues with Godzilla himself, but this isn't just any Godzilla it's the 1985 Imperial Godzilla! This is a classic toy at it's finest. He even appeared in nearly every episode of a TV show. (http://www.infinitehollywood.com/2009/11/imperial-godzilla-figure-review.html) Check out
