1979 Collegeville means KISS (and some Cylons)

KISS was so big at the time, it must have been a no-brainer for the stores to order those in bulk. Every time I've ever dressed as Gene Simmons, I made my own costume and used real makeup, but it would still be cool to have one of those masks!

I dressed as Gene for Halloween 1979, I was only six and had an issue at the time with wearing makeup (??) so I wore one of these masks, but we made my costume homemade. Even back then I felt that the costume that came with the mask was kinda lame

Battlestar Galactica, Electric Company and Super Joe costumes all RULE. Never saw that Darkon one before!!!
