Oh yeah! Garbage pail candy was the thing at my school. I kept that plastic blue can for my Barbies for the longest time! I loved Wacky Wafers! Apple and banana were my faves. I loved the other version of Gold Rush gum called Love Its. (so much that I kept the sticker off the bag and stuck it to my black jacket when I was 5, dubbing it my Love Its jacket!), and kept marbles and other things in those little bags. I miss Tangy Taffy. I used to buy one almost every day after school.

BTW EmergencyIan, those little wax juice things were called Nik-L Nips.

I miss Big League Plug. Does anyone remember that? It was made by the same people who made Big League Chew and had similar artwork on the package.

You just reminded me of another candy. I used to get these "flying saucer" pods. I swear they were made of styrofoam but they were some sort of candy that melted in your mouth once they got wet. Inside were little candy B-Bs. If you shook them they rattled. They were maybe the size of a half-dollar or silver dollar and different colors. I think I used to pay 1 or 2 cents apiece at the 5&10 store candy case.

I just bought some of those at Dollar Tree in the candy aisle. They were shaped like coke bottles.

                    >There was another version with bones and bats and the like in a coffin.

Yeah; the bones would fit together like a puzzle and make a skeleton. The lockers were already mentioned, but they also made robots. (I FINALLY found one of them robots....)

I bought some of those about 3 months ago. I love drinking the juice and then chewing the wax like gum. The juice is still kinda nasty and the wax is still kinda weird, but the experience is still 100% pure childhood joy. They never put enough of that juice in them.

Loved the stuff. The trash cans were used as accessories for my action figures, and the gold rush bags made great GI Joe duffle bags.

Their is a candy store that sells alot of this stuff and the stores are called Sugar Mountain. Google it and you will find all of it is still out there to buy. Ironically among all the candies from the past they have a lot of old Boardgames on display and alot of retro stuff, very cool place!

Does anybody remember a chocolate bar from the 70s called Wig Wam?

I was never into Candy much but I was a sucker for the trash can/Robot/Coffin stuff. I would keep them for years, candy intact.

Anyone rember the REGGIE BAR? Use to love them
Actually, If I am not mistaken, the Reggie Bar was just renamed the Babe Ruth bar, which is still around....guess when Reggie was not a Yankee anymore they figured his star was up so went with an iconic player who will always be remembered.
