    >It kind of makes me wonder if 20 years from now, kids of today will regret not picking up toys (or whatever) today.

They will; nostalgia is universal and is about memories, not specific products.

    >I doubt there's much from the early 90s that will ever be worth much more than sticker price

There will; that too is universal. It won't be the big name stuff, more like the second stringers: just known enough to be remembered, but not enough to be hoarded. "Oh man! A carded Bob version 2 from Reboot! It's the last one I need!!!" Street Sharks, Max Steel, Monster in My Pocket.... there's tons of stuff.

Yeah, Don, you're probably right. I just keep thinking about all of the carded action figures that I have from the early 90s that I can't get rid of - but those are probably the ones that adults in the 90s were picking up. It's the stuff that kids actually played with that'll probably be worth something
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

Somehow I missed this thread earlier, what a fantastic group of ads!

88c has to be the cheapest price ever for these doesn't it? Amazing.

...AND the stuff nobody cared about. The "let's bring back old stuff" thing isn't new, and it's not going away; so twenty years from now producers will be mining the junkpiles of yesteryear for ideas and eventually it'll ALL be remade/reimagined/reissued.
