I have a fond memory of these kits, there was a "Bionic Bust-Out" in my local variety store from the day they came out up until I graduated high school. I always planned on buying it but never did, I still sometimes go there to see if it's accidently buried on a shelf....
Here's Lee Majors at the FunDimensions Toy Fair booth in 1976, I can't believe how many pictures I have of Lee Majors doing this sort of thing....
I got the Bionic Bust Out one as a gift one year from an aunt. I have no idea what ever happened to it. I put it together, had it for awhile, and then it was gone. Considering how much stuff I saved from my childhood, it just seems weird that this is one piece that I have no idea of it's whereabouts. Cool model though.
Fundimensions made a lot of nifty kits. They did the "Gigantics" monster bugs too. I THINK they also made the "Haunted Glo-Heads" and models based on "Happy Days." It's strangely difficult to find info on them though....
