No, the chair doesn't talk but there's a lever in the back to move the eyes back and forth and a place to insert your hand to move it as if it's talking.

Yard Sale Finds

Great find on Pee-Wee...haven't seen one "in the wild" for awhile, usually see him in collectble shops for around $15-20 bucks.
Hit the yard sales today myself, but all I came up with was a handful of loose JLU figures for a dime apiece and some Whitman TV books from the sixties (Munsters, Lassie, & Annette) for $.50 each. And a filthy GI JOE collector case that had two naked Bo Duke Megos and a damaged naked Captain Action in it for a fiver. Rest of the time was a lot of walkin' around in the sun.
So help me though, the day you guys start collecting used baby clothes and Fisher Price kitchens, then by God, I'll have the market sewed up!
Hoping the flea markets tomorrow provide better fodder!Comment

All I picked up yesterday at a yard sale was a Mego Ponch w/perfect clothes and boots, has the watch, but nothing else...bought him for $1...couldn't beat it!Comment

Wow, you guys find actual good stuff at your yard sales. It's mostly clothes and Happy Meal toys where I go.
This weekend the "400 Mile" yard sale is running through Kentucky on US 68. We took in some nearby sales. I did find a M.A.S.K. figure for $.50, but other than that, it was a bust for me. The wife and kids found stuff though.

Do you see at every garage sale that you go to, this cheap "Dollar General" picture frame, usually with the original DG price tag of $5?

Flea market worked out better today...got another 8" Bo Duke Mego for fifty cents, a 3-3/4" Mego Luke Duke for the same, a Gabriel 3-3/4" Tonto and a Butch Cassidy for a buck each, a loose 8" Hasbro Aquaman doll with stand for 2 bucks, and a Mego Cher & Bionic Woman doll for $1.00 each (but Cher is missing a hand). Passed on a filthy Fonzie with one leg for $5.00 though. Plus some assorted junk...was a nice day!Comment

I've got my hopes up for some major scores when I go back home in July. My mom is a thrift store/yard sale junkie.
I will definitely be posting pics of everything I bring back.

I didn't take pics yet, but this weekend, I got a Wonder Woman thermos for $5, a DC Superheroes cookbook for $2, and some older pc games for $1 each. I saw a Mego Batman with no accessories other than Superman's boots, and a really beat suit. When I asked the guy how much, he said it was $15. I put it right back down and walked away. When I told my husband how much the guy wanted for it, he laughed out loud in front of him. I drives me nuts that people seem toys like that going for a lot on eBay and assume that theirs is worth the same, despite the shabby condition and being incomplete.Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?
Check out my customs!

Last summer I saw a guy had a box of about , I dunno 60 90s Batman comics for 100 dollars. And they always think your nuts when you tell them there isnt no way somebody will pay that much for it. Its always such poor shape stuff alot of times too.
